How Do You Like...
I had some left over apples from my pie making escapades yesterday, and a bit of extra dough from the cherry pie I made today. So, pie for one it is! I use Granny Smith apples, exclusively, for my pies and apple crisps. Then I don't have to worry about adding too much lemon juice to enhance the tartness. Besides, they're my favourite apples. Always crisp and a bit sour. Just the way I like them! And because they're a firm apple, they hold their shape well when baked.
